Indigenous Plants and Native Uses in the Northeast Look at the plants growing around you: On the south side of the road, start down Heritage Trail and in the clearing you will see a huge mass of wild grape vines (Vitis species) intertangeled with bindweed (Convolvulus sepium) with it's daytime flowers. Among the summer wildflowers in the field, you see goldenrod (Solidago odora) which at summer's height is not the source of your hay-feaver. Wild geranium (Geranium maculatum) is found where the trail enters the woods. | ||
