Indigenous Plants and Native Uses in the Northeast

Look at the plants growing around you:

As Juniper Trail loops back to meet up with the Nipmuck Trail, look for little bunches of partridge berry (Mitchela repens) and common wood sorrel (Oxalis montana) that peek out from roots and rocks in the pine-needle covered trail.

Note: the Parks & Recreation Dept. insists that no plants are disturbed at the Park.
