My name is Susan Marie Smith-Kennedy. I am 33 years old and was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. My father is Cherokee and my mother is of European decent. I have lived in the Chicago suburbs for 15 years and have learned to appreciate many different native American cultures. I have been married for 15 years to a Chicago man and am the mother of five children. The Spirit moved me to start writing 3 years ago. This is my first work using a non-rhymming method.
