Osage Winter Stew

Ingredients
- squash
- water
- prairie turnip
- chilli
- any other root vegetables
- buffalo or any large game
|
Directions
Boil the water in a pot. Once its at boiling point chop the vegetables and meat into bite sized pieces and add to the water. Put chilli to taste.
The Osage would make this stew when it as winter, and the corn didnt grow.
